A grout-less kitchen floor

The title is in reference to our favorite cheer from high school: "M-roon & why'te, m-roon & why'te!" (I tried to mimick the thick southern accent!)

So yesterday, most of us ended up wearing brown and white, at some point. First it was Dan, Amos and Abby that all had white shirts and brown shorts on. I added later with a brown skirt and white shirt. Who knew!?

We also enjoyed play time with the Aunts and Uncles, as it was a beautiful day outside. It is getting warmer around here and we took advantage of the sun.

We started out the day with a trip to Home Depot to pick up some grout. It was a delightful morning, cool and sunny. Amos always loves sitting in the cart and looking around while we shop. He napped on the way to the U District and enjoyed lunch with Abby after waking up. After a full day, we went back home to see what progress could be made, and after a nap and dinner, we went to Lowe's with Nathan, to pick out bathroom floor tile and grout, which again, Amos really enjoyed.

House update: We found out yesterday that we got the house. They accepted Mike and Julie's offer and we now have a place to live and potentially buy when we get to Indy. We are soooo excited. The house even has an outbuilding, perfect for a studio!!

In imagining our lives there and talking with others about it, we are reminded of the immeasurable values that this house has: proximity to the church and others in the community; a great and safe neighborhood; a nice house to grow into; a great yard, etc. Nathan is especially excited about the prospect of walking to work and the seeming simplicity that it brings. We even begun thinking of possibly selling his car to buy furniture there, and to cut down on that expense. We're really excited about living a more simple life, Nathan, working one job, and all that comes with that. We know that there won't be an absense of stress, but there's a possibility of slowness. All of that, again, is very exciting. AND apparently, Indy has one of the best Children's hospitals in the nation, which we're used to be near, up here.

God has provided everything we've needed, and will, just as he has up to now. We praise him for that as we continually feel very blessed.
