Fun weekend, lazy Sunday

This weekend, we made the most of the mist days and got out to see some landscaping! We want to try to spruce up things in the front (to add to what my parents planted last fall), and fix up the back a bit. We drove around the neighborhoods near Green Lake Presbyterian Church (there are some great yards there) and then went to the rock supplier. Nathan said it was like Christmas, as he walked around, getting inspired by all of the different rocks. Later that day, Nathan and our friend Jonathan worked on getting our computer updated, while Amos and I went to play across the street, with Laura and Luke. Amos and I are going to get to play with Luke every Tuesday afternoon, while Laura goes to work as a nurse in the Infant ICU at Children's Hospital. It might be challenging, as Luke is only 10 months old, and Amos will be there, too. But I used to be in a room with 8 infants, and only me and another teacher, so how hard can it be?

We went to Zeek's Pizza place on Saturday night to hang out with the chuch musicians. Amos got to have a pastoral moment with Pastor Kelly. It was quite sweet so see such a big guy holding such a little guy! Sunday was lazy, as we slept in, went to church and then went to hang out with Beth and Dan for the afternoon. After large plates of burritos, we all settled in for some Sunday lounging. Thankfuuly, Amos took a long nap and I enjoyed the cuddle!
