Also in January, we finished putting Amos' room together. Nathan assembled the crib (thanks Tom & Claire!) and put up everything on the walls. What a good dad! Amos' room is decorated mostly with things I've collected over the years: my Sesame Street and Muppet Movie records; my awesome painting by Uncle Ian; my Blue Kay guitar from my dad; my beautiful mirror painted by my friend Beckie; my muppet show lunch boxes. But there are some new things in there: the Red Wings clock from Uncle Jesse this Christmas; the very cool Oragami Mobile by Aunt Christen; the vintage Sesame Street playset from Santa; Amos' toys and stuffed animals from family and friends; a springy Kermit and Muppet Russian dolls from the Overstreets; a beautiful quilt made by Amos' birthday buddy, my former boss, Elaine. Amos loves his new room and naps in there during the day. He loves to look around at all of the cool things and colors!
