It's here: my birthday! Growing up in the Meeks family meant major birthday celebrations. We got to choose our birthday dinner and cake, receive our favorite sugary breakfast cereal and have the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" sign hung up in our honor. It was a special day in our house, the birthday of a Meeks.
Another tradition that came along the way was dancing your heart out to the "Birthday Song" by the Beatles. It was a blast and everyone in the room had to dance...no exceptions!
This weekend has been an awesome time and such a great birthday. Of course, I really missed dancing with my buddies in Seattle, but had a great time dancing with our new friends here.
