The Cat in the Hat shirt from Jonathan and Keren! :)
This was one of Amos' first times to color. Nathan showed him how and then he tried to do it on his own!
Reading in the car (nice hair!).
Amos and the lemon.Lately, much has been going on:
First, and most excitedly, is the fact that Amos crawls on all fours pretty regularly now. Only occassionally, when he wants to "run", does he army crawl. It is exciting to see him finally master this skill, as it's been 6+ weeks of mopping floors as Mr. Commando. It's very cute, too, to hear the slap of his little hands as they keep moving forward with each step. He is also really into standing up on things and pulling things out/off of whatever it is he's holding onto. Lately, too, he's still on nap strike and sleeping at night has been interesting. What he doesn't know is that he's asking to be let to "cry it out" so he can become a better sleeper, which is what we will do once out of the Berend house. Which, may be in the next week or so and will be very very sad!

Lately we are still househunting, going to open houses, walking through houses and yesterday, met with someone to possibly remodel 1410 Sturm (the really cool house) in Holy Cross. We had a great meeting and were really excited to pursue that until this morning, when an email notification came that it was no longer on the market. Our hearts sank and we felt very discouraged. We knew it would be a good deal and didn't move fast enough! Oh well! So, we'll go see more houses tomorrow.
Also, Amos got a new toy! Julie went into their storage and found a little play garden for Amos to play with and have and he loves it!! There are lots of little things to touch and explore and crawl through and he really enjoys it. We are excited about this new toy and very grateful to the Berends for passing it down to us!

Other than that, life is same old, same old. It is very good and we feel very blessed.
